LTD Series and beyond

Preorder info

Hello there fellow mushroom, forest, nature lovin' friend. If you're new here, thanks for coming, and if you've been with us for awhile well double thanks for supporting our work & being part of our Spore Cult community!

We think that one of the things that makes Sporelust! goods special is the human touch and attention to craft––we value well made goods, from the blank apparel to the ink and the artwork that's being printed. Every step in the process feels better to us when human hands are involved, and one way we like to highlight this is with our new (in 2026) LTD Series as well as other limited options now & again.

Printed by Chris

LIMITED TO 300 PIECES & Printed by Chris!! This is the real "limited" part of this whole series as well as where we think the value is. As Sporelust! has grown Chris is less & less able to be fully hands-on with printing, but our brand was built on long hours in the studio with one person drawing, printing and shipping every piece. This series is a way to create space for his 15+ years of screen printing (and lifetime of drawing) to offer something to this community that is really special, different every time and still has his hands and care baked in.

Preorder process

What to expect

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR OUR PREORDER PROCESS:

1

The nature of a Preorder

The nature of a Preorder is that you are ordering something that does not yet exist beyond mock-ups and samples. On this site that means we won't be ordering the blanks until the end of the Preorder window (unless they are a standard we keep in stock). As an example if it's a 2 week window and you order on the first day, we won't even be ordering the blank tees for 14 more days.

2

Expect 5-7 weeks from the end of the Preorder Window

As a general timeline rule, expect it to take 5-7 weeks from the end of the Preorder Window to get shipped in your direction. That being said, we are always going to try to get this into the studio, dyed, printed and shipped to you as soon as possible.

3

Delays are inevitable

Delays are inevitable! This becomes exponentially more true when we start adding custom blanks to these drops. We will do our best to keep this window as short as possible, but it seems very likely that we'll start needing to include custom cut & sew, custom garment dye for non-standard color options and the potential accents that are not standard. We will communicate specific timeline changes as they happen, but try to be patient and remember you're buying a slow piece of apparel that has a higher price point because it's a thoughtful & custom object.

4

Please be patient & kind

Please be patient & kind. We are a very small team––sometimes it's only Chris in the studio––so please keep in mind that you are (hopefully) supporting our artist-run brand because we are thoughtful about how things get made, and want to provide products that are not heat press transfer tees from Amazon or some other faceless, soul-sucking group that just wants to sell you tees.

Craft details

Limited print colorway

While the artwork may appear later on other Sporelust! goods, it will never look like it looks on these pieces.

Multi-Printing

It won't happen on every piece, but most LTD drops will include some type of second, third to 20th printing that is varied on each piece. From the screen printing angle this means setting up multiple extra screens, mixing more custom inks and running each shirt through the printing & curing process for each extra print.

Important fit note

If you are between sizes, size up.

Because many of these drops are custom dyed in-house, please size up if you are on the cusp between two sizes!!!!! We do our best to dry these on as low heat as possible, but occasionally they still have noticeable shrinking, and that means we should expect them to be a little smaller than a standard-sized tee. We've particularly had issues with long sleeve tees in sizes L & XL being too small, so if you're in that window, SIZE UP!
